As part of Drew University’s career development program, Justina Anise (’17) gave a presentation to students in the Biology Department’s Conservation Biology class taught by Dr. Tammy Windfelder. Justina, a Project Scientist at Peak, described the environmental consulting industry and its many career opportunities available to graduates holding biology and other science degrees.  She emphasized upward mobility, and compared and contrasted her workdays at the beginning of her career, current workdays and likely future workdays, laying out her career trajectory. She educated students on types of clients and why they need a consultant.  She also defined an area of concern is and how it is identified, and provided examples of investigating and remediating soil and groundwater contamination. The presentation concluded with a question and answer, during which the students asked many good questions. https://drew.edu/
