With mixed feelings, Peak Environmental, A Nova Group Company, announces the retirement of Robert (Bob) Barnes, a long-time employee of the company, and friend to our entire staff. His last day at Peak will be March 31, 2023, ending a career has spanned from the beginnings of the environmental industry in New Jersey, when meaningful state-level regulations were adopted to the current parts per trillion world of consulting. His entry into environmental consulting was in 1986, when he finished a degree in GeoScience from Montclair State University. He left his mark as an effective client advocate and project manager on several companies before taking a position at Hudson Environmental, which later became a part of Peak. As a part of the Peak family, Bob’s style of managing and mentoring staff consistently produced well rounded professionals preparing quality deliverables, and his focus on and contribution to our safety program benefited the entire company. As a former employee of the firm, Bob’s responsibilities will greatly increase for landscaping, home improvements, automobile maintenance, home repairs, and, most importantly, enjoying time with his family. We wish him the best!
