Michael Klaser successfully passed the Remote Pilot Small Unmanned Aircraft System exam administered by the Federal Aviation Association (FAA), earning a Remote Pilot Certificate. This certificate demonstrates understanding of applicable regulations, operating requirements, and procedures and is required by FAA regulations to fly commercial drones. With this Certificate, Peak and Nova can more efficiently complete many tasks, and offer a variety of new drone services, such as aerial site assessments, high resolution aerial site mapping, construction progress monitoring, and roof inspections. Additionally Peak is exploring drone data processing techniques that could provide clients with specialized and advanced deliverables including 3D site walkthrough models, thermal data overlays, and survey grade mapping products.
