Rapid Response Services

Rapid Response Services

Loss of hazardous materials outside of containment during storage, handling, transfer and transportation require immediate response to minimize the effects on staff, property, the environment, and business operations. Peak’s experienced personnel can evaluate release conditions immediately following any emergency responder actions to identify visual extent of impact, potential migration pathways, and potential receptors. Peak and their contractors can maintain a secure work area, provide interim measures to mitigate the release and prevent further migration, and develop short and long term plans to investigate and remediate impacted soil, sediment, vapor, surface water or groundwater.

This service is supported by professionals knowledgeable in regulatory requirements for releases of hazardous materials, storage of hazardous materials, release evaluations, reporting requirements and site remediation.  For releases in New Jersey, Peak has ten LSRPs on staff that can be retained to oversee a release that occurs in New Jersey in accordance with regulations. However, Peak evaluates reporting and response requirements to ensure all options are evaluated under current regulations.
